Bargain and sale by Thomas Ashenden the Elder of Wingham (Kent), gentleman, William Ashenden of London, scrivener, and Thomas Ashenden the younger, citizen and haberdasher of London, sons of the said Thomas Asherenden the elder, to Ralfe Grove of St. Gregoryes near and without the walls of Canterbury, gentleman; for the sum of £500 of a messuage, 1 barn, 1 garden, and 1 orchard called "Blackborre" with 90 acres of land situated in the parishes of Ebbeney alias Ebony, and Stone in the Isle of Oxney alias Oxnay, and now in the occupation of John Frenche, with all other lands and rents, etc., in the Isle of Oxney; with covenants to make the purchaser a good title.
